The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, arrived on Friday morning to the People's Republic of China, in ordeer to held the Sixteenth Meeting of the China-Venezuela High Level Joint Commission (CMAN) that will strengthen the friendship and bilateral cooperation.

Upon his arrival in the asian nation, the venezuelan head of state ratified his expectations on this trip, which he believes will give a special boost to the strategic relationship between Caracas and Beijing.

"In all fields, in geopolitics, in the vision of the common destiny between China, Venezuela and humanity; to powerfully boost the investments on energy, economic, commerce, on the successful financial relationship we've been having so far; improve what has been a model of relations between China and Venezuela", the president added in his statements to the press.

This friday, the venezuelan dignitary will meet with his chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, and other authorities of the Asian country.

Within the Sixteenth Meeting of the China-Venezuela High Level Joint Commission, a set of cooperation agreements in various areas are expected to be signed, which will upgrade the bilateral strategic alliance for the benefit of the people of both countries.
